Mini Grant awards range between $500 and $2,000 and are available to Diocese of Bridgeport parish and diocesan programs and ministries that align with the mission of Foundations in Faith.

 

More importantly, Mini Grants are meant for programs that demonstrate an innovative approaches, exceptional need, or both.

 

There is no application window as Mini Grants are available throughout the year until the annually allocated funds are exhausted.

 

As with all Foundations in Faith grants, funds are intended to be used for upcoming projects and may not be applied retroactively to past events.

 

The Process:

First, you must contact Carol Incarnacao-Schirm, Grants Manager at cschirm@foundationsinfaith.org for an initial conversation about your request for funding.

After, you will either be invited to apply for a Mini Grant or not.

These credentials will be used to log into the Grant Applicant Dashboard from where you will submit your MINI GRANT application and, if approved, subsequently submit the necessary progress reports.

If you already have a Grant Applicant account, please log in using your credentials.

From your Grant Applicant Dashboard, you will hit Apply under Mini Grants:

Once your application is submitted it’ll be reviewed and either approved or declined based on the information submitted. It is important that you include as much detail as possible in your application.

The decision will be made in a matter of days.

From you Dashboard you can check the status of your application, see below.

If your application is approved, upon completion of your program, project, or event, you must submit a Final Report.

Simply return to your Grant Applicant Dashboard and click Details and File Reports next to your Mini Grant application record on the bottom of the page.
